Our Community
Our city is a Top 10 All-American
City. It was recently voted as such because of the
excellent school system, the advances in the police and fire
departments, the civic and community programs, the progressive
businesses of the city center, and the historic character of
town square. The school system ranks within the top 15%
nationally. The system boasts small neighborhood schools
with the dynamics of an urban school district.
The amenities of this small city
include the quaintness of a small town square, proximity to a
large metropolitan area, Atlanta, with major cultural attractions
(Braves baseball, The Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, etc),
close proximity to mountains, lakes, national parks,
recreational centers, and state parks. It is a wonderful place
to raise a family.
