Candice's Early Days

Candice was born in Texas, but moved to Georgia in early childhood with her mother and father.  She grew up as an only child in a traditional cul-de-sac neighborhood mom and candicewhere the kids played in the dad and cstreet until dark.  She was a klutz – which means she was a very active child.  (She had 7 broken arms and two dislocated shoulders.)  She played softball and basketball in recreational leagues, and participated in the choir and ran track in high school.  She used to baby sit a lot during high school before she got a job working in a pet store.  She spent many summers on her grandparent’s farm (learning about chickens, hens, cattle, and vegetables).  Her parents divorced at an early age.  Her father remarried and Candice now has two step sisters and two step brothers – most of which have children of their own.  Her family resides in central North Carolina and in Florida

step sistersCandice has always dreamt of having a large loving family with 2 – 3 children.  The thought of having twins is actually enticing to her because she is intrigued by the strong sibling bond they often have.

Candice was very close to the family that lived next door and felt as if the girl and two boys who lived there are like a sister and brothers.  She still keeps in touch with them – especially her “sister”.
