The many things I love... about Candice
Candice
is truly one of the most loving, caring and fun-seeking people
that I know. These traits provide her with a lot of
friends. She enjoys dedicating her time trying to make
this world a better place whether it is at work or on her own
personal time.
Candice not only enjoys spending time with our family and friends, but also enjoys spending time with and playing with their kids. One of my nephews values his time with her so much that any time she sends a card to him for birthdays or holidays, he will not throw them away - or even spend any gift cards that she gives him - because he wants to keep them as a memento.
Candice volunteers at various county, city, and neighborhood organizations whose purpose is to make our community a better place to live in -- both now -- and into the future. She organizes clean-up efforts, reads to children about recycling at school events, and has volunteered for programs with "at-risk" kids, empowering them through art and sporting events.
Candice is a registered architect, but uses her knowledge of buildings and construction to advise other architects across the southeast on how to design and build buildings more environmentally-friendly. This building movement is continuing to gain momentum due to the strain on natural resources and the environment.

Above: excerpts from a coloring book that Candice contributed artwork to. Phido is based loosely on the neighbor's dog, Jack, which Candice adores.
At right: Candice crawled into the kid's area at a local aquarium so that she could experience what it is like to be inside the tank with all of the fish!
Her thoughtfulness is second to none.
I cannot remember a time when she did not write thank you notes,
letter and cards for a gift given, a party invite, dinner at a
friend's, or whatever other occasion. She is also a
natural at organizing trips and parties to entertain friends and
neighbors. Some of our annual social events such as "Soup
Night" and our "Low Country Boil" are just a few examples of the
entertaining that she likes to do (casual and warm in style --
not "stuffy" events). Also - at these events - children
are ALWAYS invited!
She is creative and is always looking for fun and interesting things to do. She is organized and keeps a file of party ideas just for kids. All of these wonderful traits listed above make me know she will be a loving mother.
